Dr. Peter W. Mullen, was
a tenured
member of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of
Manchester prior to establishing Kemic Bioresearch. His
research interests in pharmacokinetics and toxicology include
nonlinear
kinetics, forensic toxicokinetics, bioavailability and the
effects of
immune modulation on drug disposition. Dr. Mullen is
the
founding editor of the International
Journal of Immunopharmacology (now, International Immunopharmacology)
and a member of many learned socities
including the AACT, BPS, CSFS, SPS, SOTC and TIAFT. He is also a
current board member of the Nova Scotia Health Research
Foundation. He has organized
several scientific meetings including a NATO Advanced Study Institute
and the
1998 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society of Forensic Science.
Since
1987, Kemic's acclaimed basic pharmacokinetics course
has been presented by Dr.
Mullen at various venues internationally.
